The main features of a table simulator are:

  • Only the operating elements that are necessary   for the intended application are installed
  • The switches are simplified and, usually, the layout does not correspond to the original
  • The missing hardware can be simulated on a touchscreen

The hardware is, depending on the complexity, connected to the computer through a PLC or through a lower-cost IO interface via a USB port.
